My first Tilda with Copics

Santa brought me Copics!! So even though Mrs. Santa ordered them, Santa himself was kind enough to place them in my stocking *wink* and then I had to wait until Christmas day to have them!!!! Ahhhh the torture. lol

So . . . I finally got some time to play today and came up with this Valentine's card (maybe if Santa plays his cards right -- he might get this one on his pillow for V-day).
The colors are a little off in the photo, as the shirt is more pink than it looks here, and the card base is cameo coral (which looks darker in the photo as well).

Card details: The copics used were E00 skin white, E02 fruit pink, E21 baby skin pink, E04 lipstick natural, and W1 warm gray. Her hair is colored with prismacolor pencil light brown, and wings with sakura glitter gel pen. I also sponged around the white layer with pretty in pink then layered on the same color cs. The other layers are chocolate chip and cameo coral (darker in photo). The DP is from my SBS sister, Marcia, and came all the way from Australia. I embossed it with Birds and Swirls embossing folder, and doodled around the image with a black gel pen. The heart border punch is from Fiskars, chocolate chip polka dot ribbon from Creative Impressions (soon to be available at KL SNS), and the white grosgrain ribbon from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by! :) Kelly

I have gotten some really beautiful cards this year from so many of my talented friends!! I just had to show them off on here. I would love to show you a closeup of them all, but I only chose a few. The first one you see to the left is from Tina Tacker in all its sparkly-ness is the Santa collage stamp with a pretty silver layer and navy card stock. I love how Tina used the swiss dots folder on the white layer, and there is a navy layer in behind. So pretty!

Another one of my friends and local stamp buddies, Marcie, sent me this TAC Santa card. I have this stamp too, but I didn't create any of them this year. I LOVE the liquid applique making him all fluffy and very 3-D.

The last closeup is a very pretty non-traditional Christmas snowman from Karin Hoeve. I really LOVE these colors!! There is also a pretty little star brad inside a silver bead-like embellishment holding the pretty pink poinsettia in place. Gorgeous, Karin!! He definitely is a sweet image, too.

Lastly, you can see the many cards (and a few gifts) spread out on my dining room table. I am so blessed by so many of you!! You are all a very special part of my life, and I thank you for that!! When I am feeling blue, all I have to do is go on-line where I can see my dear friends' blogs, email you, or chat with you on SCS. The Internet can be a wonderful place getting us all together like this in our own little corner's of the world, don't ya think?! (okay sorry for the mushy stuff) *wink*
I am not sure I will be on-line much the next couple of days except for work -- so . . . I just wanted to say, "I wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS with family, friends, and especially those you hold very dear!!"
Hugs and best wishes!!

These beautiful images and snowman card arrived a few days ago from my Secret Santa. Quite a few of us, about 84 I believe, are participating in a secret santa swap on splitcoaststampers. I received these as a preview of the great items to come. The card is so beautiful with many layers and pretty pinks and blues to go with the green of the typical Christmas colors. I LOVE the untraditional soft subtles added to this card and the snowflake background from the CB embossing folders is perfect as well. (btw, I sell them at my store for anyone interested click on the link on the word snowflake). I can't wait to get coloring some of those High Hopes images as well. I don't know for sure who they are from, as we don't reveal that until our packages are opened on December 13, but I do see a Wilmington, Mass. return address and postal stamp :) I am very excited, because I also received my package today (but have to be a good girl until Dec 13 or Lena and Ms. Audrey Ann will be mad at me).

Next is a card from my dear friend, Chris Sather from Canada!! She has sent out her Christmas cards already in anticipation of arrival before the Christmas season is fully upon us. Great job on this beauty, Chris. Her coloring and shading is terrific on this adorable High Hopes image, don't ya think?! Pretty reds and greens, too!

Thanks, ladies, for starting off my Christmas season with these beautiful handmade gifts!!
