This card was actually created from a Christmas card kit, which I received in a swap I was in with some great friends over at SCS. This one came from Monkeymama aka Angela. I just love this stamped image. There are so many things you can do with it. I chose to just keep a little bit of color by coloring the holly leaves green and then sponging on some tea dye distress ink from Ranger products. The cs colors used were hunter green and bravo burgundy from Stampin Up, and the dp Angela included in the kit were Stampin Up, so I knew they would match perfectly. I added the brads (albeit a little crooked I noticed after punching the holes), ribbons and some of my favorite K and Company half pearls. One down at least 49 more to go. lol :)
Hope you are all having a GREAT week! Thanks for stopping by!

This is lovely Kelly! I need to get seriously started on mine!
Beautiful Kelly! :) Love that old postcard style you created here. I've made a total of ONE Christmas card so far...EEEKS! I really need to get started on more, but I get bored using the same old stamps year to year! LOL. ALthough I DO have some images peeps have sent, maybe I should put them to good use, huh? LOL
Hope you have a wonderful day!! :)
Oh Kelly, what a beautiful card! I love the vintage look.
I don't get my cards done too early myself, but try to think of them ahead of time. LOL Doesn't work very well when you're making them as they're arriving!
Really gorgeous!
Gorgeous card, Kelly! I really like that image and your DPs complete the elegant theme. Now I need to use a few more of those kits because they are SO helpful!
