This card was actually created from a Christmas card kit, which I received in a swap I was in with some great friends over at SCS. This one came from Monkeymama aka Angela. I just love this stamped image. There are so many things you can do with it. I chose to just keep a little bit of color by coloring the holly leaves green and then sponging on some tea dye distress ink from Ranger products. The cs colors used were hunter green and bravo burgundy from Stampin Up, and the dp Angela included in the kit were Stampin Up, so I knew they would match perfectly. I added the brads (albeit a little crooked I noticed after punching the holes), ribbons and some of my favorite K and Company half pearls. Beautiful Kelly! :) Love that old postcard style you created here. I've made a total of ONE Christmas card so far...EEEKS! I really need to get started on more, but I get bored using the same old stamps year to year! LOL. ALthough I DO have some images peeps have sent, maybe I should put them to good use, huh? LOL

I don't get my cards done too early myself, but try to think of them ahead of time. LOL Doesn't work very well when you're making them as they're arriving!

what a nice christmas card!! I love the distressed look of it!! I have only about 6 cards made so far but my goal is to get more done over hte coming weeks!! Last year I left it til the last minute and drove myself insane!!
