Bella Rose Faith Block simply layered

This card was created today with a few simple layers of the Bella Rose DP from Stampin Up and some light green seam binding, and Recollections glittery flourishes.  The image is Beautiful blocks - Faith from Bugaboo digis, colored with Copics and accented with my glittery gel pen.

Here's a closeup to show you the glitter on the roses:

Of course, I had to show you some cute photos too ...  Here is a photo of my sister-in-law's pup she got last week.  Her name is Rosie, and she is a german shepard mix.  I thought for a few moments today - "ohh, I would love to have a puppy again" (lol).  She's just the sweetest little thing, so playful, but here she had tuckered out.  She had visited her grammy and a few aunts and uncles today, so I think maybe she had a pretty big day for a puppy.  :) lol

This is my girl, Marmalade.  She has had a rough month this month.  She didn't used to stay in a crate, but she was spayed March 21, and she had a complication from the surgery in which we believe she had a stroke upon waking up from the anesthesia.  She is now blind, so I keep her in there when I am not in the room with her (I think she can see movement and light at times though).  She also has some difficulties walking, eating and drinking, which have all improved since she has come home but not fully.  She doesn't seem to understand how to chew her food anymore, so nothing but canned food that she can lick up and extra water in it when possible.  She seems afraid of her bigger water dish (got a faceful once since she came home).  It has been a difficult month for her, but she is still progressing very slowly.  The part that worries us the most (besides the blindness) is the fact that she seems in pain when she pushes up from a lying position onto her right hind leg (possible a pinched nerve that seems to have started only a couple of days after she came home).  She is a fighter though, and we pray to God that we are doing the right thing by trying to rehabilitate her.  Her snuggles and purring seem to keep us all holding on to faith that she is getting better day by day.

Thanks for stopping by today, and Happy Stampin' and Scrappin'!! :)
