Hello there, ladies! :)
I finally have started placing my layers together on Shannon's graduation announcements, so now that I have a few done, I figured I could show you. The idea for this card originally came from Sweet Irene at SplitcoastStampers. I was looking for a fast card that I could mass produce. I definitely knew that I wanted that Frantic Graduate digi stamp. I also wanted to copy the white background with the high school initials but since there is a lot of white, I wanted to add more texture (spots and dots or divine swirls used for that). The high school colors are green and white, and the girls will be wearing white gowns while the guys wear green, so there is a lot of white going on in this image. I also had to incorporate some lavender, because Shannon loves purple.
The card is gate folded so that it will open up nicely to showcase the graduation information (awaiting the verification of the actual time). I plan to print it out and lightly stamp Great Impressions graduation caps in the background in gray. The 2 stamps used were Great Impressions swirls and All Year Cheer "congratulations" from Stampin Up. The layers are distressed a little bit with chocolate chip to give it some character. :)

Hope you get some time to "get inky" this week.
