This week I was in need of a sympathy card for a friend. These have to be one of the hardest things for me to create, and to make it just a tad more difficult - it's for a guy. I am hoping he doesn't mind a slight feminine touch to this card (tiny flowers in the BasicGrey Two Scoops DP). The black and white piece on the first card is also the Romance papers found at Imagine That!
These terrific sentiments are part of a set from Imagine That called Sentimental Thoughts!
... and they are perfect for a quick card to let someone know you are
thinking of them, don't you think so too?
Also adding these to the "Anything Goes with Ribbon" challenge
at Crafty Ribbons blog. Swing by and check it out.

They are the most difficult cards to make. You did such a beautiful job, they will be much appreciated.
I think that your sympathy card turned out just fine and is definitely appropriate for a male. I think we often stress too much. I did an anniversary card for the hubs and added three little flowers in two separate corners hoping that it wasn't too much. The first thing he said is, 'I like those flowers'. Go figure!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Lisa
Lovely cards! Thanks for joining in with the Crafty Ribbons Challenge this week!

They are both so so nice Kelly! The sentiment alone makes a great card. Love your papers too though! *Ü* My (pastor) boss at work once mentioned all the great guy cards I've made him, but then mentioned that he likes flowers once a while too, which totally shocked me, lol. I guess guys like "pretty" things too once and a while. Thanks so much!
